Yesterday we got offered a home on base, and we got to take a look at it and accept it. We are so excited! We are ready to move our 12 bags and kitties over to Hickam so we can settle and decorate for Christmas! We are signing a lease today and moving in on Thursday. We hope to have our household goods delivered then too! Can't wait. I'll be sending out our mailing address very soon. This morning Sarah is going to check out the gym and Andy has some more in-processing to do! There is also a spouse social for Andy's squadron that Sarah will go to tonight.
Yesterday we took a three or four hour drive around Hickam to check out everything. This base is beautiful and very large compared to little Vance. The housing is all very beautiful for field ranking officers (the Colonels especially), off the water even. We took dozens of photos and saw the base beach too! We can't wait to move in!
